Treating a Paraplegic Buzzard

A case study from the files of Zoo Ost Ltd by Tony Nevin, BSc (Hons) Ost, DO, Zoo Ost Ltd Paraplegia comes from a Greek word meaning half stricken. When I first saw this common buzzard (Buteo buteo) it was very much stricken, and most people at the wildlife hospital put it at much more than half. In fact it was seconds away from receiving a humane exit. Luckily for it and me, as I love a challenge, I happened to be in that morning.
