Job Vacancy : Course Manager / Lecturer in Animal/Equine Therapy (75%) - Higher Education

Due to continued growth and development of our veterinary physiotherapy, equine and canine therapy and rehabilitation programmes we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic self starter who will play a major role in the future development, delivery and course management of this new and exciting area.

You will join a well-established, enthusiastic and successful team and ideally will have experience of delivery of training within an education setting. You will be expected to undertake the role as a Course Manager, which includes leading a team and the curriculum to ensure all students are fully supported to completion of all components of their studies. The appointee will be responsible for supporting research development within the area of canine therapy and continue to fully contribute to the colleges higher education strategic plan. WCG boasts impressive equine and animal therapy resources for the innovative delivery of teaching, learning and assessment. We have a well-stocked practical animal teaching facility, a commercial farm and equine unit, as well as a diverse rural estate. In addition we have a large Equine Therapy Centre and are the leading UK deliverer of farrier training.
